Driving here offers scenic coastal routes but requires strict adherence to seasonal rules and specific regulations for young drivers.

2. Driving Side & Road Basics

• Driving Side: Croatia drives on the right-hand side of the road.

• Overtaking: Overtaking is done on the left.

• Priority:

• Intersections: At uncontrolled intersections, the "priority from the right" rule applies.

• Roundabouts: In most cases, vehicles inside the roundabout have priority. However, you must always check for "Give Way" (Yield) signs at the entrance. If there are no signs, vehicles entering technically have priority (Right-Hand Rule), though this is rare.

• Public Transport: School buses and public transport vehicles have priority when pulling out from stops.

3. Required Documents for Driving in Croatia

3.1 Mandatory Documents
